On a warm California day I was baby sitting when suddenly I heard the worst sound of my life, the ice cream truck. The light tinkling tune will always haunt me. Of course the kids I was baby sitting went wild and were all like ‘take me to get ice cream or i’ll bite you’ and of course I didn’t want to like get rabies or something so I took them outside to get them some ice cream, of course I didn’t get any for myself cuz like, theres to many like calories and such. So anyways I was took the kids outside to see that it wasn’t a icecream truck at all, it was a lady in a big box, with holes in the bottom so that she can stick her legs through and move. She was playing one of those creepy jack in the box toys. You know where you twist the lever until the creepy clown thing pops out and scares the living shit out of you. I walked up to her, to see what like crazy thing was going on in her head. But when I asked her what she was doing all she said was ‘ I am rehursing a role’ and ran off into the woods. After seeing this video, I knew that I had seen Melody Malone.

She was overwhelmed by the fame, she couldnt take it, she was too young, so flew to Australia where she served drinks in a famous hotel, and surf on the weekends, but it wasnt all fun, when one Sunday afternoon she broke her nose when she slipped on wet floor. After that she return to her small town where she had surgery and a nose job (top secret), and her mom would take care of her. she wouldnt talk to anybody until she recovered completely and return to California where she nock on doors to find her way back to modeling, that one thing that she always new how to do well. Now she works for Volcom the one company she always dream to work for.

im pretty sure i saw her on the boardwalk in Venice beach selling greek goat meat kabobs…she looked pretty stylish, thats what made me notice her along with the horrid smell of the meat she was selling.
having seen her story on a re-run of E True Hollywood - i asked if she was preparing for another roll she replied, “sort of” with a spark of hope in her eye. she then asked if i would would like some GG meat on a sick and not wanting to disappoint i agreed.
it wasn’t half bad but def not something i would bring to company pot luck.
i asked her later after finishing the foreign meat if she planned on getting back into the modeling biz…like for real…no more break downs or freak outs or this disappearing Houdini train she’s on.
she simply looked up at me and said, “while out on my own living with the Quillan wolf pack…i learned meat is the only thing that matters… would you like another kabob?”

Instead of using her great wit and skills to benefit herself Melody used it to reach out to others. She showed them how pollution could jeapordize the well being of the beautiful California coastline. Melody can now be seen helping clean the beautiful coast lines of California. As a true California girl she always had a thing for the beach as all true California girls do. She may not have become as big as the other 1980\’s celebrities of her time, but she did use her abilities to do something worthy of her time.
